Current CoolerMaster NR200P setup (EVGA 1080ti FTW3, glass panel removed for clarity):
Running bottom to top air setup. Horizontal GPU, Noctua 15x120mm slim fans as intake at the bottom, Noctua Redux 25x120mm fans as exhaust up top. TG side panel, Noctua L12S CPU cooler currently as since I had to use it for the Steck, but since I have more room now, I will probably swap out to a Chromax U9S cooler. Stays pretty cool and quiet currently. Will hopefully upgrade in the near future (when stock is normalized) to 3060ti or 3070, but this setup is doing just fine for 1080p stuff, and the sim rig with the Oculus Quest.
a Chromax cooler will look nice in the white NR200P

Ahh gotcha, I saw the two boxes in your parts picture and assumed you were running two fans.
I've thought about running the 140mm fan on the accessory bracket, but it looks like it blocks a fair bit of the area over the fan. That will also introduce a gap between the fan and the heat sink through which hot air from the GPU can flow. Not sure how much it will effect the actual CPU temperatures, but something I've been thinking about since I put this thing together. I'll have some time over the holidays to tinker around with it.
Not sure if I'll need it, my temps are great. With stock fan curves, I'm 36°C CPU and 45°C at idle. Max temp 62°C CPU and 49°C GPU while editing in Ps and Lr. Max temp 66°C CPU and 60°C GPU while gaming. How are your temps with normal usage?

Juror, you can look into some mITX cases on those asian market sites like Taobao etc. My friend picked up a Ghost S1 clone from there.

Which configuration did you go with for the NR200? I want air cooled for a change but the GPU riser + mesh + AIO on the bottom seems to be the best.
Tech Jesus said no to bottom mount AIO. Another vote for 5800X over 3900XT.

Free SATA SSD from my bro!

I know about the Tech Jesus bottom mount AIO but it seems to be ok with a better unit.

Either way I am switching to the Cooler master MA620M because I want to return to air cooled and adding two more slim fans on the bottom. https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B07...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Personally I'd go for a Samsung 980 pro. You're mobo supports gen 4 NVME so I'd go that route. I haven't confirmed that gen 4 can actually reach those speeds but it sounds promising

980 pro is so expensive! Maybe I should remove some fans.
Memex doesn't know when the 5800x will be in.

What's the point of having a separate boot drive anyway? @taemo

So why do I need a 500GB drive just for Windows 10?

larger drives have higher endurance and 512 is slightly more faster than 256 due to more memory chip but you wont notice the difference and the rate you build your pcs, probably wont matter if you go 256gb lol

This will be my last one for a while. I want to go smaller. Getting that 3060 started me on this slippery slope.

To confirm. I am only installing windows in the 500gb drive? Seems like a waste of 480gb.

most software that you’ll install will default there aswell

Idle temps sit around 38°C for CPU and 31°C for the GPU. Played some RDR2 earlier and the CPU got up to 72°C maximum and the average was 59°C . The GPU maximum was 63°C and the average was 57°C. Pretty good for temperatures, this was the first time I was able to game for a few hours and actually monitor them. Might not need that spacer after all haha. Your motherboard has RGB, right? I have the B550i Pro AX and the LEDs keep turning on every I boot up the system, but I've disabled them in the RGB Fusion app. As soon as I start the app, then the LEDs turn off. The LEDs on the GPU stay off, even though they're controlled by the same app. Also, are you running pitikapp on the tablet? It looks awesome! I've been thinking of doing something similar with an old phone.

Does anyone have interest an Asus XG438Q purchased in April? I may switch to a different configuration.

That cooler will not fit the NR200 let alone the NR200P. I tried to stuff a black hyper 212 evo cooler in mine (158mm height), and I could not snap on the glass side panel. Apparently it would work though with the normal mesh panel. Max cooler height listed for the NR200 is 155m. The MA620M is 165mm.

Summa bish. Thanks for that. Noctis u12 can barely fit I think.

    Edit...maybe not U9S it is.

Good temps, I'm super happy with the C14S in a bottom to top airflow configuration.
Yeah, it does, 8 LEDs in the back but barely noticable though the mesh panel. I haven't downloaded RGB Fusion. I hear it is horrible and doesn't really work.
Yes, it's the Pitikapp along with HWiNFO64. Very awesome and definitely recommend it.

You can remove the heatpipe cover on the Hyper 212 Evo to make it fit with the tempered glass panel. Certain 158mm coolers are doable with the mesh panel but it'll be super tight. I believe the U12A will but not the U12S. Another option is to change for shorter mobo standoff screws but this will result in misaligned I/O shield with its opening.
Check out Scythe coolers as well. I've seen a lot of Fuma 2 and Mugen 5 in NR200/P.

Thanks. The Fuma and Mugen are supposed to be better than the Noctuas.

Discovered that Be Quiet Pure Rock 2 fits.

Edit 2: Fuma/Mugen unavailable. Think I'll just do a U12A with mesh panel and be done with it.

Buddy I know has some sort of PC build in trade for some work scheme going on, so wont be paying for it directly. Wants to know the best PC build he can buy right now with a ~10k budget.

Aside from a 3090 (or 2) with an EK water block setup, some Samsung 980 pros and Ryzen series, I dont know wtf to would add up to nearly that much. He does want to get whatever he can from Mem Ex. Anyone want to make some suggestions on a baller build?

What does he do with his PC? I'm guessing he can spend 1/3 or 1/2 of that and get identical performance unless he is a hardcore video editor or similar. If he literally just wants to waste as much money as possible, tell him to buy Mac Pro haha.
