The Zen4 7000 series X3D chip from AMD is coming early next year. Going to be nuts. Have been thinking about building a PC from scratch and wouldn't mind grabbing one of these.

I couldn't decide between nr200p or ssupd meshlicious. Ended up getting the mesh but temp wise you will be happy with both. It's actually crazy I get better gpu temps and cpu temps are only 5c higher coming from an o11 mini with 11 fans. This build literally only uses 2 140mm fans with a negative pressure setup.

Those Noctua fans you chose are awesome
Ultracrepidarian
They are pretty solid and noctua has an amazon store which is super convenient. After not having a ton of experience with sff i think it would be super hard to go back to atx unless its literally to show off bling. With how powerful everything is getting glass panels really hit the thermals hard. I could only imagine with a 4090 and millimeters of space in between. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

decided on a z690 to go with my ddr4 ram. wwyd, get the 13600kf or the 12600kf and save $100?
I'd get the 13600 but that's just me. I think it's worth the $100. I've been running a couple 13900k for a bit now, and I've been really happy with their performance.
Any chance any beyonders have a spare 8 Pin PCIe cable from a Gigabyte PSU they'd be willing to sell? My stupid Gigabyte PSU only came with two cables, 40 series cards need three
PSU End
Build day tomorrow. Will report back
Does it need to be from a Gigabyte PSU? I'll have a look to see if my deepcool psu has 3x 8 pins... should be the same I think? This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

I am considering the Lancool III case as well. Looking forward to your feedback! This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Yah apparently the PSU end is different on all PSU's (both the physical keys and the power vs ground pinouts), the GPU end is the same on all of them though. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Have fun with the build!
Built this last week: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/jRqMgb
Lancool III was great to work in.

Beasty build!! Gaming, workhorse, like shiny things?!

Anyone who needs a dirt cheap pc, city of Calgary surplus department has them again. As cheap as $150 for a functional pc with legal copy of Windows.
I may finally upgrade the one I bought there in 2016, lol.
Although then I got down the rabbit hole of refurbished PC's, and now Im comparing cpu benchmarks on bestbuy marketplace things. I'm sure I can keep my price to around $250.

Workhorse mainly. I was pushing my 5600X to it's limit this year with just work things. The increase in RAM and threads is very noticeable for me, loving it.This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

Woah that'd be amazing. Gaming?

Crazy to see 5.7ghz as a factory speed on a processor
