List looks great, only comment is to research for possible PM opportunities. Worth mentioning that AM5/DDR5 is projected for sometime next year.

I have an rx580.. going to have to make due for now.. My 3570k build (lol) is really showing it's age as of late though.

I hear ya, I've got a healthy overclock on my 4790k to try and give it a shot at keeping up with my RTX3070. Wasn't really an issue at 1080p, but now that I've moved to 1440p ultrawide I'm really starting to notice it struggle.

Anyone have any experience with M.2 expansion?

I bought a 1TB SN850 SSD but my system will not recognize it. I think it has something to do with PCIe lanes or some shit? I dunno. Very frustrating. I thought I could just install it, format it and and live happily ever after but nothing worth doing is ever easy.

I've heard from friends that if you have an older MOBO it can be a huge pain in the dick to get a pcie slot to recognize it

I had no issues in my Z820 getting an expansion card to see my M.2 slot. I just had to make sure it wasn't using shared lanes with a graphics card or anything like that.

One I bought has 2 slots, one for a PCIe m.2 and 1 for a SATA m.2. Plug your drive in the wrong slot and it won't read it, buy one for the wrong type of M.2 drive you have it won't read it. Also your system won't boot off of a M.2 drive that is in an PCI expansion slot.

I got it. I switched its location to a different M.2 slot that wasn't messing around with the PCIe lanes. Recognized it without messing in bios. Just formatted and picked a Drive letter. Off to the races.

In the market for a gaming monitor. I don’t think I’ve ever used anything better than 60hz before. Wondering if 1440p is the only thing I should be looking at and if 144hz is good enough or should I be going for 165hz.

My gfx card is an RTX 2070 Super. Budget up to $600

great deal on this one, I paid more for the 27GL850 earlier this year and the 27GP83B seems to be better.

Nice. I use a 55" C1 as a monitor. It's pretty great but the auto-dimming drives me crazy somedays.
