I bought the Dell earlier today when it went on sale/in stock today. Pretty tough to pass up at this price, but going to have to wait 2-4 weeks for it to arrive.

Now to find a 5600x...might have to buy a 5800x (spend money that I don't have to) since stock is such an issue. I tried to buy a 5800x from ME yesterday from one of their BC stores, but even with PayPal, it wasn't letting me checkout.

I am on the list for a 5800x but will take a 5900x or 3900x/XT. 3900xt on Amazon now for 610.

Yeah I called MemEX in Edmonton and aksed about buying one they had in stock, they said they could set it aside from me but I did have to pick it up in person. Any web sales go through the web store which is here in Calgary and draws from a separate stock. I had a 5600 on backorder for ages and then the 58s appeared in stock so I said fuck it and grabbed one.

You will need to add another 120mm fan, the NR200 comes with a 120mm and a 92mm, as opposed to the 2 x 120mm with the NR200P.

Also, I see you've flipflopped back to an AIO, sidemounting that one?

Yes! I'm side mounting that one. It's only a little bit more than the U12A and is supposedly slightly better. Good call on the fan. I assumed that they were including two.

Edit: Tech Jebus on Air v. Liquid https://www.youtube.com/watch?t=999&...ature=youtu.be
Edit 2: F-it...you've made me doubt myself. U12A is on order now.

Any reason you are planning to upgrade the CPU cooler? I'm running my 3700X stock with the wraith prism cooler and have 0 issues.

BTW is coil whine common for video cards now a days?
Never had issues with my old 1060SC but on the 1080 and 3060ti, I can hear coil whine sound until I enabled vsync on the games I tested.
    My display is a HP 27" 1440p 60Hz.

The wraith prism is supposedly noisier and the 3900x doesn't come with a cooler anyways.

I haven't heard any coil whine - not that I game a lot anyway. Want to buy my 43" Asus gaming monitor from earlier this year? I want to reconfigure my monitor setup.

My plans of upgrading the PC with a new GPU and CPU this winter is looking bleak. These stock issues are depressing.

If you want to go pre-built. You could always get the KFC gaming PC. Heats chicken too.

It's the only thing that Intel has left.

I can offload that to a NAS and toss a Sabrent Rocket 2TB for working on I guess. There are a couple on sale - a QNAP on newegg and sinology on amazon. Any recommendations?

Curious of why you're looking to sell your monitor ( ROG-43"?) Just too big?
I have an X34, and was sizing that up for my next build.

43" is great for productivity. I might size up to 55" or a 43" with USB-C. I don't game enough to use the high refresh rates on this monitor.

Trying to frankenstein two computers together for some upgraded parts but it won't boot into OS.
Moved the parts back to the original build and it boots fine.

Anyone wanna do this frankensteining for me? I've lost all patience for this thing.
Slide into my PM's. NW preferred.

Thanks man. Unfortunately there are only 2 slots in the mitx. The Trident Z Neo apparently has a Samsung B Die.

Did you select the drive to boot from? Hit Del or f2 when the computer hits the bios and check the boot order

Basically what I'm coming from. Looking for a 6800XT or a 3080. Without running a stock bot or waiting in line.

    Might be a while.
