Default Omega Speedy 50th Anniversary Snoopy Edition

    MSRP $13,100

God damn they're really jacking up the price but I want it
Apparently Calgary Jewelry already has 29 people on the list for this

That is a beautiful watch. I don't blame you for wanting it, because I do too but I can't justify spending that kind of coin on a watch.

Damn, I did not expect them to release another one. The black and white one (2003 LE) looks so good but they have risen in price so much over the past years...
The blue one here doesn't look as good, but still looks great. Also the fact it is not limited edition anymore makes it a lot easier to obtain.

Anyone want to buy my Hublot so I can get this?

Yes, but not for an even remotely reasonable offer at all.

Since it is not LE, I think I want to see it in person first and decide. I'll let you know if I do though, for sure.

I like omega as much as the next guy. But are people just that obsessed with Snoopy for some reason?

    It’s a nice watch but I wouldn’t own it.

Do you guys "get" buying baby Yoda stuffies? Because this taps into that same middle-aged nostalgia, even if it's at a higher price point.

jesus people. no appreciation for history.

Peanuts and NASA was the original "collab". Apollo astronauts wore speedmasters (famously). And all drove Corvettes...because there were no trackhawks.

The Peanuts silver award is a very prestigious nasa award.

    Is that a boomer thing?

Literally first I have ever heard of it. But then again the stopped doing most space missions before I was born. I’m from the “filmed in Hollywood” generation.

Not limited but I doubt they're going to be making this piece for more than a couple years. Even if they do I have a feeling it'll be like Daytona numbers.

Japan still has not got over it.

But this watch is all about history and nostalgia for a time when Americans were adored for achieving something nobody in history ever had.
