Add this to the list of old things I have, but REALLY shouldn't. These were two years old when we moved into the house in 2004. Just rediscovered while cleaning out my old toolbox to get rid of.
Dad's toolbox. Handed down to me after he retired.
Just put up our Christmas tree that I bought 25 years ago. Jesus... that was 25 years ago!!!! Getting fuckin OLD.
In the spirit of this thread, bought new underwear so I can retire three pairs that are 15+ yrs old. Needed new rags in the truck anyway.

Reminds me of a canvas 8-person tent we had (probably 70s/80s?). It was around 60 pounds and fit in a duffel the size of a punching bag and wasn't water repellant at all. Still used it all the time with the middle "room" as the cook house and the outer rooms sleeping 2 a side. The poles connected like a cheap hockey goal (same dimensions as well) and the canvast stretched all around it.This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Damn, makes me realize how soft people are now.
I went swimming last night out of sheer boredom and thought of this thread
I have a pair of swimming goggles that I bought in 1998 when I was 10 years old and I'm still using them
I only just got rid of a pair of swim trunks I bought at k-mart on a trip to Edmonton back in about 2002.
Apparently lots of "board shorts" don't have that mesh liner anymore? Oh well, if it flops out, it flops out.

The question isn't so much how much chlorine it is. It's how many contaminants are we dealing with? This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
