Might be worthwhile to clarify whether you are allowed to transit through NB without stopping.
RCMP will target your AB plate. My sister and family moved back to NL a few months ago and were pulled over entering and just before leaving NB, and were required to show proof they had a residence on the island each time. They were told they could be turned back if they didn't have proof, even though they were just passing through, but who knows if that was just that cop being a dink. No other repercussions were mentioned.

Would be cheaper/ easier to have it sent by rail to Calgary

Every traffic enforcement pullover is a cop being a dink.

Ship that shit. Without a doubt.
You're looking at $350+ in fuel, alone. Oh, and about a week of your life.

Impressive...my current max deer collision value is $13K. Guess that means bears>deer!

Nice car. I'm going to go bid it up as punishment for dealing with the communists.

I'm stoked for a cross country road trip - always wanted to drive the width of Canada.

Cheapest shipping quote i've received is $1800, so significantly cheaper to fly and drive.

Add in 14 days in a hotel plus meals before you can drive home.

ya, shipping from NB is insane. the best combo would be to ship to QC or ON and drive back, that'd somewhat satisfy your desire to drive from east to west. But that might be the last time you wanna do that, it's a shit drive imo.

Flight/ fuel/ hotels are going to run you $1400 at least, remember it’s 5000km of driving with much higher gas prices, during a shitty time of year to be driving long distances. Factor in fast food and your time and you are much better off shipping.

I’ve driven the entire length of the TCH and it’s a great trip, but wouldn’t think of it in the winter unless necessary. If you were doing this in May-October, would for sure be worth it.

You could not pay me enough to drive around the lakes during a winter storm in the dark. I’d rather do laps of Rogers pass naked in a convertible during a blizzard

Need a copilot for that trip? I'm game.
