These political terms confuse me. I should have gone to school. It sounds like Progressives are the devil. Centrists are wishy washy. Regressives sound swell. Perhaps I will be one of them.

Centrists are leftists. Progressives are right leaning. Regressives are really right leaning. Hope that clears things up.

And you understand that this curriculum change isn't doing that right? It's specifically adopting the views of the past. Which is why I asked what year we should regress to in order to cancel out these progressive moves that happened during 50 years of conservative rule (that was preceded by 50 years of even more conservative rule). It's a 'dial it back' curriculum change. Not a moving forward one.

I know I didn't ask, which is why I was perplexed when you said you'd rather understand the past which is why I asked how the curriculum change helps us understand the past? I'm intrigued, Steelman.
I didn't say I supported this curriculum change. You need to practice steelmanning, rather than strawmanning. Does your strawmanning actually work on people ever? Do you have dumb friends that think you are the smart one at dinner parties?

You guys are all confusing me. I still have no idea where I should be on the political spectrum. Mein Kampf was clearer. Is that in the curriculum next to incestous relationships of the Bible?

I heard the residential schools taught that one best

It means so much that you think of me as much as you do to notice a pattern. I'm touched.

But back to the topic, how far back do we need to unwind this progressive nonsense and do these curriculum changes start that process?

I think we could start by teaching kids math. Then moving on to PowerPoint if there is time.

Well if you're into the Mein Kampf era of political spectrums:

National Socialist = really far to the right
Socialist Republican = really far to the left
Democratic Republican = really far to the left but with sauerkraut
Social Republican = really far to the right but with pasta

I don't know how this could be made simpler.

PowerPoint and G Suite are far too progressive software options. The kids can learn Corel Presentations as God intended.

I don't think they eat sauerkraut in the Dominican Republic. Mind blown.
