The sweet spot would be anything between 184 and 191. I have a set of Pinnacle 118s and love them, just looking to expand my options

Looking for recommendations, I have 3 kids (8,5,3) none know how to ski and they have no gear. Is it better to rent the gear with a lesson package?? I was thinking about going to fernie for a week, or Canmore and go to sunshine. Might be a pipe dream. COP is always a option as well. Ideally I’d like the big 2 capable on their own ASAP. The 3 year old would probably be with the grand parents

Absolutely rent the first time, especially at that age when they're growing so quickly. Rent the first couple times then see how they do before deciding. Plus if they like it this season wait until April or May and buy a bunch of nice gear for cheap as people unload them in the spring. No sense buying shiney new stuff that they'll out grow in a few years.

It was bizzaro world at Fernie today. Holiday, Saturday, A good dusting of fresh stuff. And the hill was empty!? Louise last weekend was packed. Are people that afraid of getting attacked in BC?

The 3 busiest days of the season, are the 27th to 30th.

Shit, I almost drove down yesterday too but didn't see much in the forecast to make it worth a trip. Forecast for revy this week looks promising though..

Yea it was one of those days where it felt like more snow then was reported. Snow drifts certainly filled in the usual good spots. Cedar Ridge and Anaconda glades were great.

Sunshine today. Left home at 5:19, parking lot at 6:52, ticket line at 7:01, gondola line at 7:13 and I’m not even that close to the front of the line, basically at the first row of cars.

Gonna try Monday the 18th at Lake Loiuse as well as some friends are doing LL tomorrow so will update how Mondays are. As much as I wanna go boarding more I really don't wanna go on a weekend.

I did Louise the weekend before christmas and then the 29th as well. Was totally fine.
