    Update on Montec kit...

They forgot my pants, but my jacket came in 3 days. My pants arrived today after I had to tell them them they butchered my order. The stuff fits and looks great, and seems like it should last. Hard to beat for the price and it looks great IMO.

Also decided to order a 2022 Lib Tech Golden Orca. Will be my dedicated powder board and I’m stoked on the graphics and geometry. Will post pics when it arrives.

Folks should check into sunshine on-mountain accommodation tonight and ski Friday and Saturday. That's a pro move.

    Sunice is awesome.
Sunice WAS awesome, but back in the early 90's I had to settle for the SAAN store knockoffs.

Nice choice on the Golden Orca, loving my 21 Orca this season, such a fun board.

Thanks I’m excited to get it.

What bindings did you put on your orca? Going to dedicate my TRS to everyday and use the orca on powder days. Was thinking of the union atlas, I’ve always just ran burton cartels but thinking of going a new route this time around.

I’ve got the Now Drive bindings on the Orca. They’re a great match to the board, very responsive Binding.

Went out to KH and had the worst bail of my life, i was riding on the base really fast on a narrow trail and it started twitching and out of nowhere i felt my self losing it. I caught my heel edge hard and hit the noggin real nice, knocked the fucking wind out of me too. Bluebird conditions saved the rest of the day. It sucks bailing when you're old lol

Jesus why? You can’t enjoy late night cocktails. You can’t get baked in the hot tub. For the mediocre accommodations, and social media posts?

That’s a Karen from Coventry move.

Pro move, is Delta Grand Okanagan. An open rooftop hot tub & pool, with booze allowed. And a week of a socked-in,& stormy Big White.

Agree, a week at big white is better than two days at sunshine. My dreams are too small apparently.

Snow has been insane in big white. 70+cm between Wednesday - Saturday. I’d post some GoPro footage of the waste deep action but beyond makes it difficult to post videos.

She’s a thing of beauty. Rides so good. Noticeable improvement from my TRS. Attacks so hard and has so much pop. Went full T.Rice with the Union Falcors.

Awesome setup, how do you like the Union Falcors? For me, Lib tech definitely lives up to the hype with their volume shifted, hybrid camber boards. Coming from an old school mentality where you needed a long ass board with full camber for liveliness, stability and float, the shorter boards have been a game changer. Much more agile in the trees, can still lay down aggressive carves on groomers, yet unsinkable in powder.

Thanks, I’m absolutely loving the set up so far. The number of compliment I’ve had just riding around the hill is crazy! The graphics sure pop.

The union falcors feel quite a bit stiffer than the burton cartels I had before. The design and components are very high quality and everything fits together very nicely. I’ll probably stick to union moving forward. I spent quite a bit of time in the store trying playing around with different bindings and these were the best quality and feel to me.

I’m definitely a huge proponent of Lib tech, I have had 3 of their boards over the last 10 years and will never buy anything different. The amount of abuse I threw at my 2012 TRS is huge and it still holds up as my early/late season shredder.

Curious why you chose the Falcors over the Atlas?
