The one other time in history I've heard of Robinhood stonks was some sob story about a validictorian killing himself because it was clearly all Robinhood's fault that he fucked his finances because they made it too easy to fuck himself. "Everyone's fault but mine because feelings" like all these other shit handlers who gobble down Big Mac's & blow darts and then wonder out loud why they got fat and cancer like it's some giant fucking mystery.

So... We've got those types of stories all over the place and none of us saying "how about you grow a pair and accept some fucking ACCOUNTABILITY for the first time in your pathetic lives, ever". Then, the next opportunity to wipe out your entire life savings on 17-black comes along and Robinhood chooses to censor it because the media has clearly told them that "we" don't think they should be giving us all this freedom.

RH app has no trade fees. So you don't get hit with that 10$ transaction fee each time. Instead they basically sell the data of what all their customers are buying and selling to companies like Citadel in exchange for them covering your fee
