Wow. The GME options market was insane in the first minute or so before it was halted. Incredible.

TDDI won't process an order either. Looks like it's halted though.

Wouldnt delisting those two stocks make the problem worse - then you have a tonne of retail investors holding bags they cant sell. price goes down retail gets screwed.

Retail will get screwed. That's the point of the markets. They just need to figure out how.

If this was the other way around, I wonder if the brokers would react the same. Probably not.

So many trading sites down. This feels like the Oilers $14MM 50/50.

Of course not. Retail investors losing money is acceptable.

Switch to IBKR or BBT. Way better.

On another note. Watch the PLTR demo day video I linked earlier.

Is anyone familiar with how brokerages work? Like is there a single background service that links all these retail brokers to the exchanges and its just that the service can’t keep up? I like a conspiracy as much as anyone but I don’t buy the institutions are rigging that part of the game.

Nickels is good too. I can imagine they might take a run at silver stock as well.

Elon knows that lithium is not a rare element, its just that there is a slight shortage because they have really only been mining it on scale for the last decade or so. Nickel has been for a solid century, and will no doubt run out far quicker as time moves forward.

Has this kind of fuckery with trading platforms restricting access to select stocks been done before? Would I be correct in assuming RH and the like are in for a world of legal shit?
