I wonder if this will be the push that makes Elon take SpaceX public. I know he has said many times before he wouldn't due to short term investors not having the same goals n whatnot (basically whiny babies every time things go wrong), but Cathie is #1 TSLA fanboy!

$31 SPCE as we speak.. Was just $22.95 not too long ago

fud. cost is going to come out of warranty reserve. no one cares about the model S owners anyways.

the cost of this repair at a tesla service center is currently around $120 in parts (subject to change) and about 1-1.5 hours of labor, plus applicable taxes and fees based on your location.

Someone on reddit wallstreet bets hit it big with Gamestop today. The WSB gang squeezed the hedge funds that were trying to short it and they won. Cramer was complaining about it on CNBC. The question is, does this hold tomorrow and Friday?

    https://www.reddit.com/r/wallstreetb...e_jan_13_2021/

It appears this person bought Jan 15 $20 calls a few months ago for 7 cents a share, bought 1000 contracts (so he spent $7000 on a silly bet)

Seemed like he was making money on that bet, so he bought another 1000 contracts at 40 cents a share for April 16 $12 Calls for $40,000.

Since Gamestop went from $20 to closing at $32 today, it looks like:

    Bet #1: Profit is $1,129,723
    Bet #2: Profit is $1,911,983

Looks like he tripled down and bought some shares outright, up $825,000 on those.

Looks like he is up $3,866,974.

Capital gains tax is a bitch, too bad options aren’t taxed like gambling.

My good friend just spent $160k on GME puts today. Hope he cashes out.

If he said that he spent, it means that he either bought puts. It he is selling, he receives the premium.

If this is the same guy, I think he's been long Gamestop since 2019, he's made quite a bit just holding and adding to his positions every time it dips.

Deepfuckingvalue? Doesn’t sound like his positions. He had like $10c for Jan. 15th

Edit: derp... should have clicked it haha

He was up $3m a while ago, yesterday put him over $6m? That’s conviction though

My avg is $25.78 and holding around 3000 shares. It has been a roller coaster ride so far. Was ready to buy more if it was into the teens.

what online brokerage are you guys using? Quest Trade still one of the better ones in Canada? I used to use think or swim but it doesn't seem as easy to access now in Canada as it did many years ago
