+1 for totem. They did warranty work on my fridge... no idea about price, but the guy was nice and super helpful.

They have a 10%, max $25, off new customer or seniors discount on their website.
Still think you should get a Subzero or a Miele.

you changed your filter, right? put the old one back in if you still have it, and if you binned it, try buying another filter, or one of a different brand.
Its very likely that the newer filter just changed the amount of water pressure and that's why the flow rate is different. IMO. Save your money on a damn repair guy lol.
Agreed on this. I have had different brand filters not have the same flow as others. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
+2 on the filter. When i moved into my new place I tried a few cheaper no name brands on amazon but the flow wasn't as good as the OEM recommended brand. Switched back to the brand name EveryDrop and was good as new. Sucks that they are 3x more expensive than the no name brands but whatever.
I use the genuine Samsung that my fridge calls for.
Top tip - I change it every two years instead of every six fucking months. This just in! It's "filtering" water that's already completely potable and very high quality!
$100/year on filters!! RoFL!!!!
Samsung can choke to death on my grundel.
I just buy the off brand ones on Amazon for my samsung fridge, a fraction of the price of the recommended ones.
Not sure how many people live in your house, but my family of 4 + dog goes through a lot of drinking water, especially this year since i've been WFH since march. Personally I can definitely notice the taste difference around month 4 but i still wait it out to month 6 as i'm just on an auto subscription thingy that sends every 6 months. They used to be $40 but now they just recently upped the price to $45, so its $90 a year now. Still worth it.This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
There are multiple suppliers of most filters, even brand name fancy ones. Seek and ye shall find.

I use no name brand from Amazon and change when the fridge tells me.
Probably still cheaper than name brand every 2 years.
My lg has water and air filters so the name brand shit adds up.

I bought a fridge and when the filter said to change it I never changed it. It's been 5 years and i'm not dead yet. Flow is spot on though.
I’d you don’t care about the filter you can totally put in the little bypass plug.
I don’t see the point of leaving it in and never changing it though.
