Car doesn’t work the tire well, tires not into the temperature window, chunks of tire rolls off the tread into balls, creating a wavy grainy texture on the tire. Grip lowers until the graining is scrubbed off once it’s in the temperature window, which is how some drivers drive through the grain. Eg hamilton when he was losing time against vettel, started graining the tires, backed off to prevent further graining, track dried up, got tires into temperature window, scrubbed off the grain, and started getting competitive lap times. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Awesome thank you! Finally got to see it. Been bothering me for a while, tried various google searches on bailing out of f1 car, collapse etc and couldn't find this. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Hamilton to be knighted.

Saw that. Deserves it. He is the pinnacle of his field.
What's the deal with Perez being unable to find a team? I'd figure anyone who's 4th in driver points would be in relatively high demand.

I think Williams and Hass will gladly have Perez, but I really doubt Perez wants to until all options are out. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Isn't Hamilton's (unlikely) and Albon's seats are still up for grab?
