Something to keep in mind, oddly enough, Canadian Tire and Parts Source Ultra Platinum was not listed with the API approval for direct injection motors, but the regular Platinum is. I went to Parts Source. The jugs were not even SN Plus, they were still SN. My F150 requires WSS-M2C946-B1, which is basically their SN Plus equivalent (now SP).This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
It may be a warranty concern. The regular Platinum (non-ultra) was SN Plus. Like I said, may have been old stock, but I checked all over and all the Ultra Platinum was only SN.
