Common vehicles that take a 235/55R19 tire

Do you or anyone else know other common vehicles that take a 235/55R19 tire? I know an RX350 does, but want to know what else.

Perhaps there's an easier way to look this up that I'm dumb to?

It is actually a pretty common smaller/mid SUV size and comes on quite a few as well as crosses over for plus/minus sizing all over. Pretty much anything that came with a 225/70R16/235/70R16, 225/65R17/235/65R17, 225/6-R18/235/60R18 etc it will work on with minimal variance. Are you trying to find a market for them?

Since I've got your attention and this thread turned out to be silly, can you advise me on replacement tires that are as close to Hankook Ventus S1 Evo2 as guy can get? Same size.

I absolutely loved everything about those tires but was horrified that they were completely bald after only 33,000 km of relatively gentle highway driving.
You know how opinions are on tires, but if you know of similar, summer performance tires that do everything these did except wear out so quickly, I'm interested.

It's not like I expected a decade out of them, but I did expect closer to 50,000 km.

It would be a bit of a trick to do what you are asking honestly. The issue being one characteristic sort of corresponds with another, so to get longer tread life (for example) means going to a tire that runs cooler or has a more durable compound and that means the performance qualities will change. I believe those tires had a UTQG wear rating of 240 so while not comp tires, they are lower on the scale. Even tires like the Michelin Pilot Sport 4S, which are definitely considered to be a premier street level UHP tire have a UTQG rating of 300 which represents about a 25% increase in expected wear.

That really is the number you should be using as a relative comparison. Really though, in pure summer only UHP tires, you kind of expect in that 30k to 40k of usable life not abused and properly maintained. To get tires that move you into the 50k or more range you should probably be looking at moving into the A/S variants of UHP tires. Just based on your comment that you drive "relatively gentle", you probably don't need such a pure sport tire to begin with if I am being honest. You are really paying for features you don't fully utilize and are giving up on aspects you seem to want where the A/S versions will probably overlap those spots a lot better IMHO.

It ain't about "needs" that's for sure. There are times the tires will be pushed a bit during their "overall gentle" life. I'm just a believer in using proper winter tires so that should mean I might as well get something sticky for summer rather that A.S. hockey pucks. Plus, I can attempt to justify it on the safety aspect of better emergency braking or manoeuvring if WifeyLeadFoot gets in over her head.

Until it is hot and dry and you are cornering so hard that the extra 0.1 of a g-force is the difference between living or going off the road in a fiery wreck of death, then the summer is making sense.
