    yeah, really. sadly. LOL

I have met G-ZUS and I don't think he is stupid, far from it. What he described is exactly what myself and others said would happen if he didn't put in a secondary support before moving the first. So, I don't know if he is pulling our collective leg, or if this was just a bad decision born from frustration. Like I said, I don't think the OP is dumb so I can't see him making this kind of decision, but, we can all make dumb moves once in while.

Or I am completely missing something here.

It was technical advice that was complete for its intended purpose that someone would rely upon.
Someone get Curt Stout on the horn to fight APEGA and their "Orwellian word control" and whatever other gibberish.

Or just fill in the entire wall for better structural integrity.

Could advice from P. Eng's on beyond count as professional advice? Asking for Saul Goodman.

In all seriousness, I have spent a lot of time with lawyers on professional matters this year, and I feel like I could dispense actual relevant advice on a specific situation. I will not dispense said actual relevant advice on this forum.

All you armchair EIT's can refer to your "law for professional engineers" textbook for reference. Or follow Curt Stout. That would work as well.

Can't get sued if you don't build anything, I always say. I'll stick to my MS Paint masterpieces.

Yes that’s a very important structural triangle right there!

That’s Easter, the pillar of Christianity.
"The most merciful thing in the world, I think, is the inability of the human mind to correlate all its contents... some day the piecing together of dissociated knowledge will open up such terrifying vistas of reality, and of our frightful position therein, that we shall either go mad from the revelation or flee from the light into the peace and safety of a new Dark Age."
