Made my own this year, laser cut out of birch and is reusable. It's double sided with 12 more boxes on the backside

I’d go $60-$80. If you sold for less I’d question quality unless there were 5/5 reviews. If you also gave ideas on what to fill it with it would solve many problems for unimaginative guys like me. Honestly, I want to know when you start selling these.

Unassembled is good for shipping, plus great for people who like to assemble things. Could do one price assembled and one in flat-box.

Not even showing my wife, because she’d be the first recipient.

EDIT - I think it's worth noting that if I found this on Amazon, I don't think I would even notice it. Unsure how to articulate how that matters, but I truly appreciate what you've done with this - knowing that you're a regular local dude and it amazes me when people can create art like this.

I think your looking at $40 and $60 if assembled. It's simply wonderful and you've done a great thing!
For 2021, consider if you make it without finger holes so "no peaking" but include a tiny hook/tool or something to open the drawers?

    This is a ShutUpAndTakeMyMoney.jpg
Drawer pull using a peg in the bottom/top centre would solve that

Make a candy cane the "hook" to open up the drawers.

I had to go to 4 stores last night before I found a shitty PC brand one. However My 2 year old is pumped so that's all that matters. I definitely learned a new parent lesson: pick up an advent calendar for your kids BEFORE December .

Wife had to settle for Dollar store ones because there were none where she looked. I don't think we were more proactive last year. Usually get Kinder ones.

You realize you are talking to the guy who made his own furniture out of salad bowls right?

I've only been aware of what an advent calendar was for a couple years. Never needed one before, don't need one now!

Out of curiosity what do you think would be reasonable price? I considered selling stuff but with no markets this year didn't bother. Would be like ~30$ unassembled or 50$ assembled (about 30-60 minutes to snap together)

    Might try for next year
No clue, but if you do sell it send me a PM with the price! Wife will love it for our kid and our kid next year will be 2 so he will remember things better.
