White Jeep Compass stolen

A 71 year old lady friend of ours befriended a 54 year old loser named Tony. This guy scammed her of her cellphone, cash, credit card and worse yet her 2011 white Jeep Compass with only 30,000km on it.

The guy is into drugs, buying and selling and homeless. Chances are he’s couch surfing throughout the city.

Good chance the plate got swapped out already. We were briefly able to get into his Facebook chat and saw he owed a dealer named Barbara Jean Gallivan from cedarbrae money at 2930 oakmoore cres SW. That where we found he has scammed others too.

We drove there a couple times but no sign of it and we live at the opposite end of town to check more often.

There is a police report but we know how much use they are

Start by scouring Kijiji, Auto Trader, and Facebook Marketplace for similar make and models. I'm not sure what the market value for a Jeep Compass is, but if you can find some that are substantially more than that, you can always counter their offer.

They're probably going on VRM Canada values. A top trim Limited 4x4 Compass with 30,000 km lists at $8300. I'd try dealer compairables on Kijiji, you'll likely see higher values.
