    They have 2yrs to file, if this has lapsed nothing should come from this. Your insurance would cover you from any liability if you had coverage at the time of the event, doesn’t matter if you are not currently a customer. So yes bring it to them, don’t pay anyone, anything for this BS

    To also note. Besides the timeframe being beyond the window of 2yrs this is textbook. Essentially you can only make this claim once so you name all parties. Everyone knows who will actually be responsible and nothing will actually come from it. But let the insurance company deal with it. They do this everyday and you paid them for their services. Use them

    This is my thought, to use insurance, Im just worried of them saying "nope this was over 2 years ago it's out of our coverage window" or something. Just working myself up lol

    You have nothing to worry about, simply contact the company you were insured with at the time of the accident right away and that will likely be the last you ever hear of it. You're perfectly fine.

    Wow, I'm relieved on behalf of this guy!
    These all certainly should be the answers, but with a legal system instead of a justice system, one never knows.
