I don't know anything about inflatable paddle boards, but this seems okay.
Probably going to need to invest in an electric pump with a pressure gauge.

^Looks like you've been keeping your legs in great shape throughout these unprecedented times. No need to flaunt it by wearing clam diggers, but what ev's.

Herb, how'd you get your name added to the paddle board?

Kind of off topic, but any wing foilers or wind surfers in here?

Looking at making the transition from wind surfing to wing foiling and waiting for my gear to arrive. Super stoked.

This is my electric pump, worked great so far (though this is only season 2 so who knows). It's nice with the digital gauge and setpoint. Just turn it on and then leave it and do everything else to get ready. Auto shuts off when inflated so I can help others with their shit. I used it to fill a friends raft as well and went super faster, though I just watched it and turned it off when it was full as I wasn't sure if I trust it to fill to 0.5 psi and stop. Didn't want to wreck the cheap dingy.

Irocker does offer a kayak seat + second paddle to make it double sided, I think that's my only purchase I have left for this thing.

Came across another alibaba type option, but hella cheap at only $280 with shipping may 30th. Only double wall but at least it has the seat conversion kit included. Figured since I don’t know if I’ll like this new hobby that I’ll try this out then next year upgrade if I want to keep it up.

    Evtbikes.ca

The website was not working thru my home connection but works on mobile data. It seems a bit sketchy but you can tell it was built with shopify and I paid with Apple Pay so not too worried.

They also have a shop in new horizon mall apparently if you want to see one in person.
So these guys ended up delaying my delivery date by a month. Was supposed to be May 30 now they are saying June 30. Was hoping to use some time in June so kind of pissed me off.

Luckily this one was in stock today so I’m going to cancel the pre order from Evt bikes and get my money back

Similar things exist for different brands.

That works but a few things:

    1) It doesn't come with the SUP fitting so you'll need to buy that as well
    2) It pumps a bit slower than the one I linked, though its battery instead of 12v plugin so that may be more useful sometimes. I can't imagine not being near a vehicle when pumping it up though as all the extra stuff & the pump goes back in the car anyways.
    3) You have to manually move the hose from high flow to high pressure mode. Not a big deal but an extra step each time.

It does work well enough, and for half the price is a good deal. But I'd still rather have mine. 12 min to pump up a board vs 20 min is a pretty big difference when you're sitting there waiting to get out on the water.

Edit: Actually that doesn't come with the battery, so I don't really know if thats any cheaper unless you already have Ryobi tools.

SUPs have their own fitting? What a ripoff.

Yeah, its a twist n lock so it doesn't pop off under pressure.

Update on Newell paddleboards. Had them out on Sibbald lake on the weekend. Bought the Newell-supplied electric pump and like that a lot better than manual. Boards were good, but one developed a leak along a seam in the hot afternoon sun. Maybe should have stored it in the shade, maybe could have patched it myself with the supplied patch kit, but nah. Sent email to Newell Sunday, they delivered complete new board with all accessories by 2pm Monday. They took leaking one, and I assume they'll repair and sell it. Zero hassle. Impressive customer service.

    That's impressive service.

My blackfin is holding up well again for another year. Took it down the bow twice, elbow once, and beaver mines lake so far. Hopefully another float next weekend and then maybe two jack lake if I can get out.

Also someone gave me 20$ to use my electric pump to fill their raft on the weekend. Was waiting for the last of our crew anyways so 20$ to just stand there while they use it sounded pretty good deal.

You sound like a walleye fisherman.
I recently tried a SUP but I rented one from some place on crowfoot, great service. They drop it off and pick it up, cost about 45 bucks for a full day rental. It was a cool experience but I don't think I'd buy one.

I have bought a inflatable kayak from Amazon instead that just came in the mail today. Will take that out this weekend.

@ pheoxs; What pump do you use? I bought one from Walmart online and it was... not very good.

A buddy uses a 12v air compressor for inflating tires.
Something like this. But from crappy tire.

This is the one I use. It's great and works pretty quickly. Digital set point so just turn it on and forget and get everything else ready and have a drink. Has all the regular air pump ends too so we use it for rafts and air mattresses as well. Also with any pump, make sure to have the car running while you use it, the higher voltage from the alternator running makes the pump fill faster. Car on vs off saves 2-3 minutes inflating the board.

It comes with 2 orings for paddleboards as some valves use a slightly different thickness. Make sure you use the right one so it seals

That works but be mindful it'll be slow. It's rated for 1CFM in the description while the pump I linked is 10CFM up to 1psi then 2.4CFM above that. So quite a bit faster to fill. If you do go the air compressor route, try to find a high flow one. There's some good options that route.
