Do you have a Chinese menu or do you only serve white people Chinese food?
I think it depends on if you have asians with you to give you legitimacy. Solo whitey? No cool food.

Old days back when it was Wa’s? I miss that. Haven’t been since it changed hands.
We really miss Wa's, food and staff were the best. Went there for years. Sad to hear the owner/chef passed

been craving some Malaysian food lately especially roti and too lazy to drive all the way to Banana Leaf (I think they are closed for a while too anyway).

do you recommend also getting the rice combo or the beef rendang laksa soup?

I have been going to Tropical since they were on 12th street ne. you can't go wrong with anything, its all great. You should try it all but try Kolo Mee first, with extra fish ball and wonton

got the kolo mee, it was great and even our daughter liked, lots of noodles though for the amount of broth so maybe next time I’ll ask for more broth.

the roti with beef rendang hit my malay craving though, cant wait to go back again.

I’ve been going to tropical delight for years, never dissatisfied with their food. We usually get the seafood laksa with level 3 spice, roti’s and 1/lb of the beef rendeng

It’s a culturally inclusive feast, if only there were some mushy fried rice.

    Pizza Hut a worthy addition?

Game and Pineapple with honey garlic boneless bites.

Goes great with a nice French bubbly!
