Again, india was already pretty much fully open during the last 6 months. I’ve posted before on how baffling it was that things were trending down since august and September. If anything, behavior has changed in the last 2 months which should slow down transmission, not increase 1 and 2 the way that were witnessing.
Not to mention india is under testing and under reporting right now. Even with fudged numbers, some regions are still reporting 40% positivity rates. Things are so stressed out, ambulances and covid treatment drug prices are currently 10-20x higher due to price gouging, and you can only buy them from the black market. The situation is insane right now, it’s much worse than what we see in the media. There is no measurable way that human behavior can come close to explaining what is happening.
