I will for sure, as will my wife being a health care worker.

I am the furthest thing from an Anti-vaxxer. Vaccines are one of the greatest to ever happen to humanity. That said, I don't love the idea of a rushed vaccine where everyone is running to be the first past the finish line with the pressure of the world on their shoulders in addition to shareholders. Long term testing I think is important, which does make me a bit nervous in general (especially non mRNA vaccines).

If you are higher risk, sure then totally makes sense. But if you are low risk and are generally very careful in terms of exposure, it does pose a moment of pause.

Just need to carry around a little card with your credentials on it and present it when requested.

I thought the 'no' vote would be higher considering most people here are Gen X.

Didn’t Phizer test on something like 40,000 people. Plenty enough to know odds of side effects.

How much more testing, in your professional opinions, do you guys require out of curiosity?

I always wonder while health Canada is such a stick in the mud, until you talk to the average Canadian voter.

Originally my position was "yes I'm going to get the vaccine, but not until after we see if there are any significant side effects and it gets fine tuned or safer versions are introduced" cause I had concerns that it may have been rushed out the door too quickly. However, after watching this video and seeing how some of the research and how it works, my hesitations have relaxed a bit. I suspect I won't even have an option for almost a year anyways, so we'll see if there are any side effects and fine tuning anyways.

Tbh I’m not sure lol I’m healthy, zero preexisting and zero allergies but by the time it’s my turn millions and the millions will have received the vax so idk why I would be concerned.

I also don’t see myself traveling in 2021 and just focused on work and sports so I don’t need it as a travel passport until 2022.

They are all mRNA vaccines for the COVID virus are they not?
J&J/AZ and all Chinese vaccines are based on inactivated (payload killed) or non-replicating (wings clipped) of dead or kinda dead COVID cells.

While all vaccine longevity is to still be to determined, there is a good chance mRNA ones will last multi years instead of multi months.

I hope they make it a law that you must have the vaccine in order to travel.

Not to mention the US is still claiming they'll dose 10 million people this month.

By the time were given the choice here there will be tens of millions of people already ahead of you

Interesting change since July (70% yes now as of this post vs 82% in July). Are the anti-vaxxers slowly winning/convincing the population over time?

A lot of it is TDSing since it was trump who sped up the virus development and approval and the media just can’t help themselves but to use it to stoke distrust.

I think the only people you'll find disagreeing with this statement would be Trump and his supporters, really.

Interesting you say that. From what i've seen, it seems to be far righties/qanon/stop the steal conspiracy types who are generally pro Trump who seem to be the loudest anti covid vaccine.

The hilarious thing with Trump taking credit on vaccine developments is that Pfizer did not take any Trump funding aside from guaranteed orders (along with every other major country), and it was a Turkish couple (founders of BioNtech) who gave Pfizer the expertise. The cultists will believe anything he says.

Now why would people think it's been rushed/sped up?

Those are the default anti Vaxxers, the media is just creating a whole new category of anti vaxxers who want nothing to do with anything Donald trump is associated with.

It’s funny how you bring that up and people immediately turn on a heel to start criticizing the vaccine based on trump. Even in this thread

You’re the one who made the claim that he sped up development and approval. I provided a simple fact that refuted the claim.

I didn’t think you were the type of person who would fall for that tripe but the marketing genius has clearly brainwashed allegedly smart people too.
