That's par for the course on every vaccine. That's like the main piece of information that anti vaxxers stick to when claiming vaccines aren't safe.

Yup. When you take the flu shot there's no liability if you have a reaction. Canada didn't need to set up the covid fund but chose to try and give people some piece of mind.

My wife just said today that she hopes people will continue to wear masks when sick with whatever, to prevent the spread. This whole mask wearing has been happening in Japan for YEARS before it became fashionable here, specifically to prevent spread of whatever sickness you got when sick.

I think Karen's might wear them after all this is over...select few people, but most will go back to the good old days.

People should just stay home when sick, but i guess if they must go out with a cold then yeah masks make sense in that case.

It's just ridiculous to imagine that in say Stampede 2023 when the pandemic is hopefully way behind us that we would see people still wearing masks on the grounds or in nashville north.

It’s interesting that people seem to need to be 100% comfortable with something to embrace it.

Sounds like buddy is just pissy that the virus is getting approved without him getting to review it (and the funding dollars that go along with the review).

You could do all the testing in the world for a century and still not be 100% comfortable in something, requiring 100% certainty in anything makes you sound colossally stupid.

I expect masks to come off for COVID19 eventually. But picking up wearing mask as a habit may not be bad idea if we keep going into the cycle of 1 new virus every 4 years and vaccine from research to admin takes 2-3 years even in the most accelerated schedule.

*assuming councils version of mask policy actually did something......which as buster has pointed out multiple times we can’t actually test because there is no alternative universe where we test without masks

If any politician runs on the premise of drastically stripping calgary council of power, they have my vote.
