200 rubles for a jab if you’re over 60. That’s like $15 Canadian pesos. I mean if they want to make a trip out of it and see their families or something then yeah but I can’t see how that would make sense to travel there just to get a shotThis quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Once the majority of the population is vaccinated, I don't think the infection rate will be near enough to have the ICUs full by that point. Those non-vaccinated will spread it amongst themselves, but it's not like they will continue to congregate together due to like-minded idiocy quite like they are right now so the numbers will probably be pretty low by then. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. The one I asked sure did. As a bonus, that's actually the protective dose many people take for other heart and clotting related risks. Low dose asprin is 81mg/day. Regular dose is 325.This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

When I was there they were slowly lowering the age. The the vaccine was then made available to everyone above 42 I think. My siblings all got it. Mum was able to get her second dose. I was not old enough (41).This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
When I came back to Calgary here the other week. I was available to get it here. But I was in mediatory quarantine by the Trudeau Gestapo. I called the pharmacy the other day as my quarantine ended. But they had none left. The vaccines available were for a different group. This whole vaccine by type and age does not make sense to me as our population base is so dam low. Anyhoo, Im booked in for the 20th.

I thought the reality is that the vaccine is only a short term temporary thing anyways (something like 6 months or so but nobody is sure?) and this will keep coming around so you will end up getting it seasonally or so like the normal flu vaccine. If this is the case then it won't really matter I think... It will just keep going and going and going. Is this not in the same family of viruses as the common cold? Like that just can't be beat sorta deal as much as trying to keep them reduced? I haven't seen anything that says we are going to beat this. Only learn to live with it. Maybe I am wrong, and I really hope I am, but that sort of seems to be the consensus no?This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
The consensus right now is probably not a good way to predict past the next few weeks.
Let's all do the best we can to get through 2021 and then we can worry about "forever" later.

That's my understanding as well - basically, we are all going to be exposed to covid at some point. It's just that we all react differently to it - some experience nothing, while others may ultimately die from it. And that's where it's a personal choice to vax - because we don't know how our bodies will react.
I think the ultimate goal is to reduce the number of hospitalization rate/death to a manageable number based on our health care system. At that point, we can all continue with our regular lives, because if someone got covid at that point, we would have enough medical equipment to help them out.
And the same thing can be said about the flu... Some people are never really bothered and others may not do so well. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
So do you get the flu shot or not?

No no, he is saying 2 more weeks x 2 more weeks = 4 more weeks not 6 x weeks of 2 more weeks = 3 weeks because 2 weeks = 14 months x 4 weeks = 56 weeks x 52 weeks/year = 1.1 years so therefore 4 weeks = 1.1 years and therefore we should be good by mid 2022
Tap, Rack, BANG!
Can you put that on a stacked area graph?
