If you want Moderna or Pfizer, and are over 35 years of age, you can now book, assuming you are of Métis or First Nations heritage, regardless of where you reside.

Since they've effectively run out of AZ shots, if you are 40-55 and not in any other grouping, you can't book right now even though you are eligible.

Then again, there is no documentation requirement for Métis or First Nation individuals. You are permitted to self-identity as a part of those groups. I actually know quite a few Métis people, and aside from usually an affinity for hunting, they seem about the same as anyone else.

Got a call from Healthlink today telling me I’m eligible for the ‘vaccine at my worksite’

I called them back and now have an appointment on the 2nd for the AZ shot. I’m 32 but in an area hit hard by Covid. (Oil sands camp)

So now I just need to make it to that date without taking a ride on the Covid Cadillac. I know many, many people that have or have had Covid. At one point, I was literally surrounded by asymptotic Covid carriers. I have been tested many times now and each time I come back negative. It’s like walking thru a minefield.

We actually already know exactly who started the outbreak on my immediate crew. He came into work and we all thought he was in rough shape but he said he was fine. Then he left for a couple days sick. Went and got tested and was positive. Then over the next two days, half of my crew gets wiped out from being positive.

I was around all of them for extended periods of time. Meetings, lunchroom, field work, you name it. Didn’t get a single call from a contact tracer lol. That’s how good the contact tracing is folks.

Hey, I'm 31 (female) and planning to do a Pfizer. So you saying I can not book if Im not of Métis or First Nations heritage? Im confused
