I do admit that the conspiracy theorists and anti-government weirdos are making more and more sense as time goes on. The world is starting to confirm to their predictions, and I feel gross about it.

The government reacts the way it does because it has to deal with stupid people, stupid people react illogically, they rebel and act out. They don’t think, they just react.

The government has to react slowly and carefully so it doesn’t create panic amongst the stupid.

Put the stupid people in camps. For example, give them the choice to take a vaccine that benefits society and if they choose to not partake in the benefit of society, then they can be isolated from that society. Since that's what they want, based on the choice they were free to make.

I don't think the government should do anything to or for the unvaccinated. Don't protect them, don't try to change their minds, and at this point, stop trying to influence them. Remove all restrictions, let more people die, and let's move on.

Wingnut or not. I dont think the plan was to get to 100% vaccination. I think in the early days they said we needed 65% to get to herd immunity.
I would think the science should be getting close to figuring out what the actual percentage of the population needs to be vaccinated to reach herd immunity.
We are currently at 83% fully vaccinated(12+) and I would assume with natural immunity the number would be a little higher.
