Pharmacies are treated like the red headed stepchild. They are doing amazing work with the little information, guidance and resources they are given.

Recall that when the initial vaccine rollouts were being (LoL) "planned" that pharmacies were not going to be giving shots. Which was so completely insane that even our gov't figured out that pharmacists should be giving shots.
Got my second dose yesterday, 80 minutes after it became available. I actually had a first dose booking at a Copperfield Pharmasave since before AHS even allowed my group to book, but once I secured my AHS slot and got the first dose, I just bumped my pharmacy appointment back, hoping to convert it to a second dose. It was bumped to July 7th, but yesterday morning at around 9 AM I noticed a 14:20 appointment became available, so I decided to just try my luck and booked it. A few hours later I found out that as of 1PM everyone is eligible, so my trick worked out well and got the dose right away. I did book my AHS one as well before heading to the pharmacy just in case they said no, but it was not a problem at all. They asked if it was my first, I just said no, my second, they asked when I had the first, printed out new paperwork, and 5 min later I was vaccinated. It's a bit tricky, but I got a lot of work travel coming up and wanted to get her done as soon as possible. I noticed that same day slots open up often at Pharmasave....so if anyone is looking for a quicker Pfizer shot. My mom was out and about and I couldn't reach her, so by the time she got in line it was like 87000 deep. She did book something in July but I plan on logging in at night and canceling my AHS appointment and hopefully sniping it back for her before someone else does
About 20 hours after second Pfizer dose and starting to get body aches. Expecting it to get worse tonight but hopefully back to 100% tmrw morning. I had no symptoms at all aside from sore arm at injection site the first dose.
I had body aches for about 24 hours. Wife had some for 48.

Got my second shot (Pfizer) on Wednesday AM. My arm was a little sore that day, a lot more sore on Thursday, and Friday it was almost gone. No other side effects.
I think my first shot (AZ) was more worse, but even then I just felt really tired for three days.
Got the same feeling 36 hours after the shot and had body aches with chills; slept it off and I’m okay now. Hydration is key! This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Same here, much better today after sleeping it off. Popped a couple Advils yesterday and it helped too. Great feeling to be done with this and knowing I can get back to normal lifeThis quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Also gotta tip my hat to the Deerfoot/32nd drive in location. First time using it and will def use it again. Pulled up exactly at our appt time and was out 30 mins later including waiting time. Didn’t even have to get out of the car. Good option if you have kids and don’t wanna drop them off anywhere, just leave them in the back seat occupied and make an ice cream trip out of it. Win/win.

Zero side effects second shot AZ. Can’t wait to get my 3rd shot AZ when that’s available.
Chief of Pediatric Critical Care: ‘Never Taken Care of a Single Patient With a Vaccine-Related Complication Until Now
-Lucien Wiggins, 12, arrived at Tufts Children’s Hospital by ambulance June 7 with chest pains, dizziness and high levels of a protein in his blood that indicated inflammation of his heart. The symptoms had begun a day earlier, the morning after his second vaccination with the Pfizer-BioNTech mRNA shot
-“I have practiced pediatric ICU for almost 15 years and I have never taken care of a single patient with a vaccine-related complication until now,” Ross told Kaiser Health News. “Our standard for safety seems to be different for all the other vaccines we expose children to.”
-Unlike other pathogens, such as influenza, children are generally not infecting older, vulnerable adults.
-Data regarding COVID’s impact on the young is somewhat messy, but at least 300 COVID-related deaths and thousands of hospitalizations have been reported in children under 18, which makes COVID’s toll as large or larger than any childhood disease for which a vaccine is currently available.
-Young people could experience long-term effects from the suspected vaccine side effects such as scarring, irregular heartbeat or even early heart failure, Meissner said, so it makes sense to wait until the gravity of the problem becomes clearer.

Children aren't affected by Covid19, but the experimental gene therapy could sure affect them once they take it, and who knows what the long term affects could be.
Shot #2 of Moderna booked for today @ TCC. Stoked to be double vaxxed.
