Anyone got their second dose that doesn't have immune system issues? I'm pretty skeptical of waiting 4 months for the second dose (pfizer). Was thinking of just going to the US and getting it there ( going for work anyways)

I've tried with zero luck. They're not even offering potentially wasted doses as 2nd dose. I know people who tried to book in first doses as their second doses and got yelled at by pharmacy staff when they showed up.

That said at the rate we're getting vaccines now, I'd say we start seeing 2nd doses start in 2-3 weeks. That would put me at 8-9 weeks, not too shabby. Hope I'm right.

If you're going to the US anyways, might as well. But you won't be waiting 4 months for a dose here, Canada's guidelines is 'no more than 4 months' and looking at all the vaccine deliveries that Canada has with Pfizer alone (and Moderna picking up) we will be starting second doses in mid June (likely sooner even) and have enough doses by end of July to get near 70% of Canadians with 2 doses.

So you can go south if you want but tbh within ~2 months you'll get your second shot here anyways.

I know a Chinese pharmacy which was booking 1st shot in Apr already booked 2nd shot in July. Not sure they are just doing their own thing and being optimistic that AHS will let 2nd shot go by then.

No. They can upon request, but it becomes available for you on some sort of My Alberta website health profile, or something. I've been meaning to enter ALL of my personal info into yet another PoS gov't site so that it can promptly be hacked...
