I think we won't have any issues passing 70 or even 80% eventually but the push (lottery) is definitely just smoke for stampede. Once we get to the point of every pharmacy having walk-ins then we'll see a steady trickle, especially as people replenish their prescriptions.

Even in the US you saw 1st doses drop off heavily but then they still trickle along slowly. Even if AB sticks at 5k a day for a few weeks that adds up over time.

Dr. Byram Bridle Professor of Viral Immunology University of Guelph - Top Immunologist and Pro Vaccine Doctor Has a Warning on the Experimental Jab

‘We finally learned how and where the Vaccine antibodies are stored in the body’

‘The spike protein in Vaccines can kill you’

"The infamous spike protein of the coronavirus gets into the blood where it circulate, however through request for informaion from Japanese regulatory agencys for several days post-vaccination and then accumulated in organs and tissues including the spleen, bone marrow, the liver, adrenal glands, and in quite high concentrations in the ovaries”; “a large number of studies has shown that the most severe effects of SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19, such as blood clotting and bleeding, are due to the effects of the spike protein of the virus itself.”

-the assumption is that the vaccine doesn't go anywhere except the injection site so they stay in the shoulder they have gotten access to thebio distribution study, 1st time ever that scientists have been privvy to seeing where the RNA vaccine goes. Does it stay in the shoulder. No, it circulates in the blood and accumulates in a number of tissues
-Spike Protein is a pathogenic protein, it's a toxin, it can cause damage in the body if it gets in the circulation
-Spike protein can bind onto the receptors on the platelets and cells that line the blood vessels which can cause platelets to clump, it can lead to bleeding, cause heart problems, cross the blood brain barrier and cause neurological damage
-questions about long-term safety of the vaccine with it accumulating in the ovaries, would it render young ppl infertile

There is a side effect of having most of the Canadian population done with only one covid shot. Less crime than the USA.

Theory goes: If younger, more violent and protest prone youth have both shots, they are more likely to go on a crime spree or protest march with their newfound immunity. If they only have one shot and still around a 50/50 chance of catching, if they break and enter while touching the doorhandle - they are less likely to B&E.

Just got my second shot at Telus. I was down south for the first one and I have to say I am pretty impressed with how they have TCC set up. I think I was in and out in like 25 minutes including the 15 minute wait time and 5 minutes of navigating the maze. The only downside to this is I am going to have to find a new excuse to turn away all of the sales guys wanting to meet for everything all of the time. @ExtraSlow , if I finally buy some stuff from you can you also fend off all the other jackalopes for me?

AHS vaccine page is 1 day behind for some reason.

Vaccination data are up-to-date as of end of day June 13, 2021

3,412,751 doses of COVID-19 vaccine have been administered in Alberta
68.8 percent of 12+ population has received at least one dose (58.6% total population)
20.8 percent of 12+ population fully vaccinated (17.7% total population)

The problem is his numbers are as of June 13th, which AHS reported yesterday, but ok.

I think what happened is that the AHS website is showing end of day June 13th, which is correct since it gets updated in the afternoon. Kenney got the updated numbers for end of day June 14 and tweeted those out.

If he is correct, the numbers that are released later today for end of day June 14 should be 2,639,486 (give or take a hundred or so) first doses and 69.34% with their first dose.

I've never been so excited about percentages to two decimal points.

I’m thoroughly disappointed that AHS isn’t going to cook the books so we can hit 69.420% for one day
