In a study “First Month of Covid-19 Vaccine Safety Monitoring,” 79% of adverse reactions linked to the Moderna and Pfizer vaccines were reported to the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System from Women.

The study run through Dec. 14, 2020, through Jan. 13, 2021, monitored over 13.7 million doses of the vaccines administered across the US.

“…VAERS received and processed 6,994 reports of adverse events after vaccination, including 6,354 (90.8%) that were classified as non-serious and 640 (9.2%) as serious,” the study notes.


While most side effects were mild, including fatigue, headaches and dizziness, the CDC study notes, “A total of 113 deaths were reported to VAERS, including 78 (65%) among [Long Term Care Facility] residents.”

With 13+ million doses, the number of immediate, serious after effects you quoted is absolutely miniscule in comparison. 640 serious and 113 deaths and no doubt some of those serious events would have taken place without the vaccine anyway.

Im not seeing a good post-vaccine risk argument that pertains to the immediate after effects at this time. A sample size of 1 for bells palsy is not an indicator of anything. If 10,000 people suddenly got it though, thats a proper argument.

However, what I am more concerned about are the longer time frame implications, which are much harder to quantify.

And yes, the Gates vaccination fuckups in India and elsewhere are well documented. He is no authority on this matter as there was likely other interests at play there.

One number I heard allergic reaction is 4 in mil and it can be managed and treated.

My employer did come out with some official guidance and it was as I suspected: "we recommend that everyone get the vaccine, and you are welcome to get it during working hours if that helps your scheduling, but at the same time, we will not require anyone to inform us of their vaccination status unless you are required to travel for business to somewhere that requires proof of vaccination."

How would that work with site specific requirements? For example lots of sites require proof of First Aid training. I can't exactly tell them I don't have First Aid because I don't believe in it. So could sites potentially require proof of vaccinations for site access?

I've worked for companies who have fired people currently on mat leave before, but with severance. Shitty thing to do but I don't think there is anything illegal about it is there?

There are always ways around it. When a head count reduction comes, would they use it against you? You'll never know.

Or something I post the other day about "accommodations" as laid out in the Human Right code. They can't force you to vax but they can arrange you to wear PPE in office and/or WFH if you don't and that's fully legal.

I had been talking with some friends, forgot not everyone is on here. I got the PHONE CALL tonight that I am now on the list to get the Covid 19 vaccine as a high-risk individual. I was notified that I WOULD BE getting the Pfizer dose. Should be getting in sometime in April once they open things up to the high-risk list. Apparently, this is something my doctor set up. so, no, i have not gotten the actual vaccine yet, just that i am on the list to get it, and was notified it would be the Pfizer one.
