I wonder if any of the pharmacies are contacting the appointments weeks out to try and rebook them in sooner, though that might be a lot of legwork for them.

I wonder how many people are double booked and how quickly the province and pharmacies can pivot on short notice once people start cancelling or missing their double bookings.
That's literally what they're doing, trying to move appointments up. Lots of people don't bother. No shows from uncancelled appointments doesn't help.

For the Pfizer shots, does anyone know how they are delivered to Pharmacies? Is it dropped of once for the whole week or daily?

Got my shot at urgent care In the south, IMO it was super busy. They were a hour late in getting to me, not a big deal. Mostly old people getting their second shot.

Good news: Canada unofficially hit the 300,000 doses/day mark (Manitoba's daily numbers aren't really reliable and neither are BCs really, but let's take it for the milestone), and the total daily doses keeps trending up. Hopefully we can get to 400,000 soon.

Bad news: Alberta fell well short of the the 30K+ mark it needed to and now we have a 16 day vaccine supply with 120,000 more doses coming next week. But opportunity for improvement!

Alberta is now 2nd last for doses administered per capita only ahead of Nova Scotia which has been a complete failure of a vaccine program so far.

Pretty shitty to see AB going from having a great pandemic response in terms of early PPE, earlier testing, keeping up with early vaccine doses to now things are just falling apart when it counts the most.

Just shy of a quarter of adults in Alberta with some form of immunity as of today.

A hair over 7.7 million Canadians with some form of immunity

Nice to go into the weekend with this kind of positivity. That's the energy we need.

So AB's old covid dashboard reports 818k vaccines while the new covid dashboard reports 804k vaccines. Great to see solid consistency. Either +39k or +25k day .... hoping its the former.

$20 per booking. Returned when you show up, end this issue. Except if you're a baller.

Former would be very good. He’ll, the average between the two would be very good.

OK, well, figured I would chime in.

Officially got mine. got the Pfizer version. Didn't have any choice in the matter.
