True, it's been my main source, but when it disagrees with the Alberta site, like it does for these percentages, it's best to use the official numbers. Obviously the official site is the source that is what Government will use to ease restrictions and move through the reopening phases.

Let's hope Lotto Vax will get people out like Lotto Max.
Pfft, they can't compare with the 70$ million jackpot and 58 MaxMillions. They should have just commandeered this weeks Lotto Max.

Covid Tracker doesn’t use the correct population data and hasn’t corrected it for some reason even though it’s available. The Alberta.ca percentage is the correct one
I wonder how they get the population number. My Dad is registered as a Calgary resident, but lives all summer in BC, and has received his shots in BC. That is just one person, but I wonder if he would be considered outstanding, or maybe they register with his Alberta healthcare number and send the numbers in to AB

I think while they set goal at 70, they had hope for higher. Hence lottery.

If Cali show us a sign, their $110M lottery got another 2% out in a week or so since anouncement.

I'm sure our lottery will get us thru 70% but I doubt it'll have much effect.

So I guess everyone lost on date betting a few pages back?

Yeah I called yesterday evening. Oh well.

New guess is this Saturday evening when Friday’s numbers stroll in.

I’ve been so caught up on first dosing that we’re really making headway onto the second with like 21%.

We should be close to 35-40% in second doses as Stage three arrives. That sounds like we’re setup for success.

I heard a stat saying that preventing 12 ICU patients alone saves us the $3 million the lotto costs.

Ever JAB sets us up for success.

This vaccine lottery could be really good value for the province just in reduced health care costs if it convinces an extra 10 or 20 thousand people to get thier JABS.

Telling anti-vaxxers to take a hike at the ER could save us billions! Throw in fatties and Canada could actually post a surplus.

In an interesting turn of events, the lottery is another factor displaying the massive inefficiency and bureaucracy in our healthcare system.

Speaking of ICU patients. Was it fully determined that they are just displaying every ICU case in the covid numbers? Which would explain why we are stuck at 70 ICU numbers.

Not sure what you mean or what you're insinuating? Alberta page is showing 73 ICU cases, and has been jumping around between 70 and 74 for the last 4 days or so. Whereas prior to that we were seeing drastic decreases daily in the ICU numbers. The rumor here was that those ICU cases were not just covid ICU cases, but all ICU cases were being labelled as covid.

I'm asking if that rumor has been confirmed. That would explain why we are stalled around 70 ICU cases, because that could just be normal ICU volume regardless of covid.

They broke down covid vs non covid icu numbers a while back. The reported numbers are definitely covid only.
