A buddy of mine is reluctant to get any shot, not because they are anti-vax in general, but he doesn't understand the long term effects enough to see it as worthwhile for him personally. He also is a hermit and doesn't go anywhere.

It's a why not both mentality. I know people like that, they just hermit themselves and feel they won't catch it and wait until more info comes out on vaccine before going for it.

I know some people who are totally against the vaccine but will take certain medications with a mile long list of side effects.

I just scratch my head.

Some of the worst are house wives, they will inject their bodies with Botox, take birth control pills, anti depression medication, Vicodin, smoke pot, drink alcohol and snort cocaine but to hell with ever taking a vaccine…LOL

Crazy situation with the censorship from major social media outlets banning users from discussing its efficacy. Bret Weinstein and Dr. Pierre Kory have been doing the lords work getting the word out that Ivermectin needs to be deployed.

I've been following this since Dr. Kory's testimony to the senate back in January. I think we would see a much higher acceptance of Ivermectin vs Vaccines - considering all the safety, data and efficacy of Ivermectin has been proven over the last few decades.

We're starting to see reporting of heart inflammation with vaccines, irregular and excessive bleeding in women from vaccines. Understandably, some people will outright die from receiving the vaccine, but this is an expected result in a widespread campaign. Obviously the vast majority of people appear to be OK after receiving the vaccine, but it's disputable that a vaccine released by way of EUA is 100% safe and fully understood.

I know Oxford is putting it back into study but 1/2M dead in Brazil isn't proof enough that its impact is at best anecdote?

It's incredible how predictable the knee-jerk reactions are. There's nothing political about realizing Ivermectin is effective - but what's disturbing is the predisposition that the general public has towards adhering to one type of thinking. I'm not surprised, and would expect, ad-hominem attacks after bringing up this subject.

A good example is the Lab Leak theory. There's no change in evidence since it was first postulated, but a few months ago you were a 'Trump Supporter / Conspiracy Theorist' if you tried to discuss this as a possible source of COVID. Now, it's rapidly gaining acceptance as a plausible theory. I would imagine the same will happen with Ivermectin.
