If the vaccine works why are we having a 4th wave? The numbers don't make any sense. Isreal is a good example to look at.

The only issue currently is our hospitals being overloaded and then ripple effects of that. When you look at the strain on the hospitals is clearly the unvaccinated causing the problems.

If you take out the old age segments (because lets face it, anyone 60-70+ likely has a weak immune system and vaccine or not they're at a high risk of being hospitalized.)

So under under 60 you have the following people being hospitalized over the last 120 days.
73 fully vaccinated people (42 with health conditions, 31 without)
106 partially vaccinated people (71 with health conditions, 35 without)
1,702 unvaccinated people (772 with health conditions, 930 without)

When you add in the fact that more people are vaccinated (65%) in the under 60 age range than no vaccinations (26%) it's even more tilted. (The other 9% of the population having a single dose.)

So you have a quarter of the population that is unvaccinated taking up over 10 times as many hospital beds as the other 75% that has at least one dose.. That's the problem. Vaccines work very well and if more people would take them then our hospital capacity could easily handle the smaller number of people being hospitalized because of covid as well have capacity to take care of the 60+ age range which are at a high risk of being hospitalized even with the vaccine and need care.

Because the vaccine works only on people who have gotten it. The people getting sick enough to be hospitalized are overwhelmingly unvaccinated.

It's looking like my gym will have a registration table set up for this. And once you're registered as showing your papers, it'll be linked to your app so you can just scan in like normal. But won't know for sure till I get in there for the first time.

I've heard of some gyms potentially trying to bypass this by just making every member a 0.001% stakeholder or some shit. Then nobody is a customer I guess? Not sure that would exempt people from not being vaxxed anyway?

Met another guy at my other gym today. He went and paid a homeless guy 250$ to take his healthcare card in and get vaxxed for him.

Needless to say, motivated people will find ways to get around this stuff.

Sounds like the passport is working, someone told me that booked vaccine appointments spiked to 45000 now. Haven't verified that though.
