It's always distributed per capita (besides early Moderna shipments that were prioritized to the territories because of it's easier handling requirements). So Alberta will get ~70k doses give or take. About a third of people that took AZ will get their second dose with this shipment.

The only thing I can think of is that AHS is releasing bookings to load up the 4 days post delivery with appointments and then limiting them a bit for the next 3 days just in case a shipment is delayed. It would kind of make sense, but I guess we’ll see with tomorrow and Friday updates

They will "ramp up" again in two weeks (50k extra Pfizer per week for AB). With almost 2.2m Pfizer plus whatever Moderna/ AZ showing up before the end of June, I would like to think we will be sittin' in a pretty healthy position going into the summer? Hard to know what to think with Kenney's narrative contradicting itself every time he's in front of a camera.

I think there is a lot of hesitancy to book more people for shots than we are 100% certain we can administer.

I can see the logic to that, if someone is on the fence to get a shot the last thing you want to do is start dicking them around about it ( in the case you have to cancel bookings ).
