Default Who is still wearing Masks on a day to day basis?

Now that flights without being vaccinated and mask mandates are being lifted on flights as well, I figured I'd ask, who still does it on a daily basis aaaaaaand why?

I still have to wear a mask for getting on the plane, but that's for work and don't have a choice, it sucks wearing one on a plane.

Also, who is still wearing one while driving alone? @89coupe ? Orrrr?

I wear masks everyday while I'm at work. I don't mind it, the amount of sick people I see everyday is astonishing. Being self employed if I take a day off, I lose money.

Nothing against masks, if I had to wear one for xyz rain today then no biggy, but I went to flames games and a concert so masking up at this point and earlier became redundant.

3-4x a week... Medical and food places are still mandating that they be worn.

With the insane pollen clouds and massive poplar fluff this year - wore it a bit more as some filtration was helpful certain days.

Or maybe I fell into BCs fit in or eff off

It depends on how badly they want me to wear one, and how badly I need to be there. I wear one at the doctor because they make everyone wear one, and I have to go there, so that's not too negotiable.

Are masks on flights actually being lifted? I thought they were staying.

Oh good, another covid thread. My work still recommends them, and as an employee I feel I should lead by example. I've 'downgraded' that to have one on me in the event that when I'm doing a repair in someone's office, and they ask I have one on for their comfort, I can bust it out and rock it like a face cape.

I don't care if you wear a mask in stores, food places etc... That's your personal choice.

However, if you're outside wearing a mask then I think you're a fucking idiot. That includes driving in your own vehicle by yourself.

If my kids are sick at home and I've been around them all day then need to run out somewhere I will toss one on. I just do that so if I am harboring what ever bug-of-the-week they have but not sick myself yet then I'm doing what I can to not pass it on to anyone else. Masks don't bug me nearly as much as they do the rest of you honky bois. If I need to wear one sure, if I don't okay. Masks rate pretty low on my daily annoyance level chart.

As long as we all continue to wear them when we are by ourselves in the car then nothing else matters.

I don't wear one now for the same reason I did wear one when we was told to....I trust both my own doctor and the majority of doctors in the world. If they say you only need to wear one now if you're high risk or around others that are then that's what I go by.

Funny thing a couple months ago, we walked into an Asian restaurant and the staff weren't masked, I joke to my wife that you know this whole thing is over when even Asians aren't making up anymore.

I will say that hospitals and doctors offices should require it forever... who the fuck knows what people are walking in there with every day.

Grocery store sure. But then again, I've always been the sort of guy who wipes down every can before putting it on the shelf.

I have a pretty low personal tolerance for masks. That's not a risk assessment, that's a "I hate wearing them" thing. I have worm them where legally required and nowhere else.

My vehicle isn't equipped with a cabin air filter, so I definitely wear them while driving.

Stay safe, stay healthy, god bless.

Only when walking into a place of disrepute, I put on my mask and pull on my hoodie.

I'm almost out of my 10 days isolation, probably continue the same.

I wear one where I've been statistically sick on the regular pre-COVID:on planes.

The benefit of masks is not known at this time. But we do know it is some non-trivial amount more than zero.

We also know that the cost of mask use is, essentially, zero.

So the cost:benefit of mask use is approaching infinity. I'll take that every time. And every time I see someone without a mask, I think they are stupid.

Wear one on transit. Unsure if it actually filters the meth and crack particulates or not.

I encourage most people to wear a mask.

I don't wanna smell your stinky coffee breath. Why do so many office workers not listerine? Just brushing is not enough.
