Can anyone suggest a charity to donate mens suits? I think there's one that does an annual suit drive in June, but I need to clear out my closet now.
I know goodwill and value village woukd take them, but wondering if there's a better option.

Do they have back pockets in the pants? Probably not.
Drop-In Centre is always a safe bet.
Never Value Village, ever.
Give it to an actual charitable organization that Value Village can then maybe buy it from.
At one point the Alex House was taking business clothes to help get people ready to work however I am not sure if they do that anymore. I know the Dreamcenter on McLeod still does though https://calgarydreamcentre.com/donate-goods/

I could use all the damned positive attention I can get. Not going to hide that, although my post history on this forum probably validates my attention-seeking ways pretty well.

Moore does at least an annual thing, not sure what they do the rest of the year, but they give ya a discount on a new suit if you donate during that event.
But then you would own a suit from Moore’s...

Not up to snuff for suit snobs. Nor do I even think it’s good value compared to other alternatives.

The Dream Centre on McLeod. They are always looking for mens clothes and Ive taken a lot of my old suits there. They help get people back into the workforce and provide training and assistance to people looking to get back on their feet.
Donated a bunch after I saw this.

I MAKE BALLER CARS MORE BALLER.....
This is great! My wife took out 5-6 of my suits earlier this year and told me to get rid of them but I've been hoarding/hiding them since they are all in near-new conditions. I only wear suits for business trips, which is a handful of times pre-covid and none now. Now I feel good donating them to the right cause, rather than just into a bin in the superstore parking lot.
Thanks for triggering this thread Extra-slow!

Dream Centre sounds like the best option. I have one beyonder who is first in line, and if he doesn't want em, that's where they'll go.

What size is this beyonder? I am pretty sure that I have a pair of bnib black dress shoes. Maybe a couple of suits and blazers.
