Default Multiplayer game/trivia sites and apps

A favourite pastime for me and my friends are cards, board games, and trivia. With the current restrictions, meeting up in person isn't an option anymore but do you guys know of any sites or apps we could log in and play together while we chat over Zoom? We did an hour of Kahoot! last night and it was pretty fun. Just seeing if there's are other options. Looking for something that would appeal to both kids and adults.

Some of my friends' kids are taking this lockdown really hard right now and just having the social time together with everyone is really helping their mental health.

boardgamearena is awesome - my friends and I meet up every other friday and play on it, ive been playing alot of 7wonders duel on it this week.

Also on steam there are the jackbox party pack games which include some trivia ones but you kind of need to share with zoom or teams or something like that so that everyone can see it.

We've been playing Among Us and Codenames lately. Both free.

I haven't used zoom on mobile but if you get discord you can voice chat in the background while you play.

You can play Jackbox over Zoom etc I believe. As long as you can screen share from a PC, everyone uses their phone to play.

Do they still have Acrophobia online somewhere? I used to play that a lot while I was younger. Maybe it's not what it used to be, but I remember having a lot of fun with it.

The only problem I have found with this is that the music in the game is really loud and you cant (or atleast I cant) seem to figure out a way to keep the music on the game lower than the people talking but not too low so that people cant hear it. And when you are in the middle of a zoom call you dont really want to be fucking with your windows sound levels.

Drawful on jackbox is pretty fun. I was able to make it work with zoom.

Someone suggested bingo the other night. I didn't think it was going to be that exciting, but it turned out that everyone had fun, including the little ones who had trouble keeping up with our previous games.

Randomly generated bingo cards in Excel spreadsheets can be found here:

One fun thing to do if everyone is running multiple monitors is to have sharetube running on the side as a shareable jukebox. Did that for my last poker night, and it's a pretty neat service. Although, the interface isn't awesome, and you end up with some weird unintended videos from time to time.
Probably not a good idea for anyone running a single-screen or on slow internet though. Totally fine on my 150/150 connection.

You realize you are talking to the guy who made his own furniture out of salad bowls right?
