Awesome. That's my kid in the opening faceoff #8, he's going to be so stoked to see this. Are you doing this with your phone? I need to start playing with my 13 a bit more.

    Thanks so much!

My kids #8 as well haha.

I think we played you in Dec too.

Ya just using my phone, with a hohem gimbal stabilizer off Amazon. Recording in 4K HDR 60fps, color correcting, then finalizing in SDR. I need more storage for these tournaments, 256 barely enough haha. Literally have to delete everything else on my phone to make 2 hours of footage and editing fit.

Just go to the waster water tab. We know this wave is over when this chart comes back down.
That wastewater tab really is useful now that we aren't testing everyone. But at the end of the day, all we REALLY care about are the deaths or hospitalized people.

Im pretty sure the reason Canada is dropping is not because the cases appear to be going down, its more because the provinces have hit their testing capacities
Yeah, I realized this later. Pretty much makes new case numbers useless.

As far as talkin about hockey, it's a noticeable spreader for sure. A month ago my son's team got hit by 4 confirmed cases, and then we had another confirmed case yesterday (obviously unrelated). Unfortunately, that last kid is pretty close with mine so they spent time on Tuesday face-to-face chatting with each other on the ice and doing drills together. My son took a test last night which was negative, but I know it can take longer before symptoms arise so it doesn't prove much. And now with home kits running out, even testing at home to know if we can send him to school or if we should get tested ourselves is becoming challenging.

    Yay - it's a covid free-for-all.

They updated Jan 9th interval and it's down from the peak. So basically everyone got infected during Christmas as expected. Hopefully it leaves just as quick and hospitals can handle the lagging surge.

The 'rona get into my wifes workplace. They had a pretty good run, but now everyone has it. Wife tested positive last night. Scratchy throat and body aches. Not too bad. Her friend is really coughing and sick.

With omicron you might need a few additional days after your wife tests positive before you test positive. Hopefully you still test negative though!

I’m not seeing much point in testing myself for Covid at this point

Once testing becomes a useless tool for identifying the diseased ( re when everyone has had it and that messes with testing efficacy ) the travel restrictions will just as quickly disappear.

Pandemic is over. Best Christmas ever. Time to move on and get back to work so we can pay for this hole we have dug.

My opinion. Covid testing should be completely eliminated outside of diagnostic uses for treating disease. Just like any other disease.

That’s incredibly inefficient and a waste of resources.

Leave the testing for the autopsy.

I'm surprised my wifes workplace went this long without the shit hitting the fan tho. They have never followed any measures to mitigate spread.

Testing myself later today again... not that I give a fuck... but will be interesting to see if/when the tests begin showing positive.

Unfortunately, I developed a scratchy throat last night. Wife's body aches are gone this morning, she still has a scratchy throat.

Will keep you updated on my Covid journey. hahaha

Covid went through our house in Nov. Teenager, myself and my wife got it. Didn't test the kids who are 1 & 2. End of December into January the youngest kids get the stomach flu and entire house ended up projectile vomiting everywhere. Wife and kids have seemed under the weather since this happened.

Fast forward to this Sunday my teenager gets sick out of nowhere and tests positive again. Our 1 yr old ends up testing positive on Tues as do I.

My only issue so far is a scratchy throat. My teenager was out of commission for 3 days but seems good now. 1 yr old ran a fever for a bit but seems good.

Been a ridiculous few weeks for our house. So far wife is still negative surprisingly.

Have had a few colleagues that picked it up from one place or another prior to/just after christmas. No one in bad shape.

My oldest Aunt (I think she's 70?) picked it up, and has been in the ICU on a ventilator for a couple weeks. They tried taking her off this week, but was a no-go. She's unvaccinated. It's such a sad situation, she was being an absolute selfish moron, now her kids and grandkids are stressed about losing a mom/grandma at a relatively young age. On the other hand, one of her sons calls her the wicked witch of the East, so
