    Default Boxelder bugs

Anyone have these inside their homes? Started seeing then in the fall then nothing over winter. Starting to see them again now that it's warmed up. Has anyone had them and got rid of them? Any tips other than burning the house down?

You realize you are talking to the guy who made his own furniture out of salad bowls right?

They're harmless, but yes - this Autumn was the worst I've ever seen for them. Lots and lots got into my garage but I don't think any made it into the house.
I was vacuuming them up with one of those mini Dyson things and then tossing them into the compost bin outside, because the vacuum didn't kill them. Apparently stepping on them makes a foul smell.

Welcome to warm spring. There is nothing you can do about them and if you have a south facing house its even worse. Basically end of August into mid October depending on temps we have a bottle of water/dishsoap mix to kill them. Squishing them is bad as they emit a pheromone to attract more.

They are completely harmless but just enough creepy to give people the heebie jeebies.
