That was my thought when I first saw the video but then after learning who the "kid" was, a 21 year old Junior A hockey player...I doubt most of the keyboard creampuffs online here, myself included, could pull him down either. He's 100% in his element and they're basically a couple of bambi's on ice.

All things considered I think he was actually showing a bit of restraint. He could have simply skated away and I also think he could have flipped those ladies on their assess with relative ease. I'm guessing he was just standing there almost toying with them.

EDIT: I think maybe a few posters after me misunderstood my comments, I was referring to his physical restraint, not behavioural. He still made the wrong choices, I was just referring to the physical confrontation. Without a compliance device (taser) or him finally "letting" them take him down, those ladies weren't going to be able to force him to do anything let alone get down on the ground.

Use of force is easier when the suspect has a knife or gun, you just use your taser or gun in response. Taking down a kid on skates is probably harder.
