    I went to mickelson.

The food and Bev is super slow, pre order if you can. I recall waiting at least half my round for a beer.

Was pretty pricey for what it was. But it was fun.

If they aren't shooting beers at you with some kind of automated refill machine, they are doing it wrong.

The “putting” experience is fucking infuriating, never thought I would hate something more than putting at a screen

I've gone a few times to the Heritage Pointe one, minor issues each time but overall still a fun time.

Don't like the fact they include the suite/booth fee on the bill along with the food so the tip gets inflated. Also sucks that they put the reservation times back to back so if the group ahead of you isn't herded out by the servers, you lose out on the time you pay for.

As Killy says, order your food/drinks before hand while hanging out before your scheduled time.

Ya know, I did TopGolf in Atlanta this April. Nothing annoying about it. Like fuck I'd put up with paying for time when someone else hadn't vacated the booth.

Did the Mikkelson one in the spring as part of a Corp Challenge thing...

Servers were cute...beer was cold (a bit pricy but meh...)

Games were similar to Top Golf...

I only paid for the beer so cant comment on anything else price wise...

Does launchpad have angry birds? TopGolf does and it's amazing.

Launchpad review: Went today to the Heritage Pointe location, while it was snowing.
    1) heaters so strong we turned them down. Staff says they are good to - 20c. I don't know about that but at - 2 and breezy it was fine without any excessive clothing requirements.
    2) because they use an optical tracking system (different than TopGolf I think. So the tracking is not reliable for low shots. Suspect that's better if you get decent loft, or if the ground isn't covered in snow. If the system doesn't track your shot you just go again.
    3) the ball feeding system jammed several times on our first stall. They moved us to an adjacent stall and that one had no issues. Still frustrating when you pay by the minute and you are wasting time.
    4) no angry birds. The fishing game is suited to little kids, because it's basically random and doesn't reward skill. The other games are all fine.
    5) Was not full at all, but it was - 2 and snowing, so that doesn't mean much.
    6) food was okay. Except the nachos were a soggy mess. Sliders, chicken finger, club sandwich all good.

I was there Saturday night and I agree with the nachos being a mess. Don’t get those.

I have been there about 10 times in the last 2 months and my gripe is the putting system. I hate dropping a ball 7 yards away from the hole and then having to hit it 50 yards to “putt” only to somehow end up with a double bogey, like I would 4 put from 7 yards .

I agree that the tipping system, especially when my average bill is $350 and my food and beverages are about $60 of that bill. Staff have been great every time I have gone. The tracking system seems to reward you on high and slow like mentioned.

Fun story as Saturday night there was a check stop right at the gates and it looked like they were cleaning up, I had to pull over as the breathalyzer errored for me and then I sat waiting another 20 just to get out because there was so many tow trucks. Glad I’m old and I tend to drink more water then anything now days.
