Gemoro in edmonton came through for me... guess they had tried calling me 7 or 8 times but phone wouldn't ring. Stupid reception in the country. The AD thought my phone was disconnected but she knew i had just turned down a different model a couple weeks back. Glad they kept calling until they could at least leave a voice-mail

I feel dirty for wanting an explorer. I don't know how ya'll deal with the bullshit purchase methods.. looks like MSRP is C$9K, but they are posted on chrono24 for $15k? the fuck?

Just go talk to the AD. An explorer should be obtainable, I would estimate 6 mos wait time.

Chrono24 pricing is bullshit... it's like the go-to for overpricing dealers and because they have the brand recognition, a customer base that keeps the wheels turning.

I was getting super impatient waiting for any of the styles I wanted and was offered a 2 tone explorer. I went in to buy it but found it way too small and tiny.

Struggled with turning it down especially with my flipper mentality but it ended up as the right call as they called me a week or two later with the one I really wanted.

another data point, I turned down a 36 DJ about 1.5 mos prior to getting the call for a combo more suitable to my taste. maybe turning it down shows you are not a flipper and they feel happier to sell to you?
