I see it the other way around. The premium brand just got cheaper. Glad rolex didnt do this.

IMO wearing a cheap made watch hoping to feel "premium" is just sad. Id be embarrassed wearing that thing.
Do you have a small ween

I know it's not a Sub but if you want your Rolex itch scratched, City Time has some vintage pieces for sale at their shop! So tempting DJ's...

Now I am browsing around ..

There are few "Luxury Stores" selling Rolex locally in Calgary, (and handbags) with today exchange rate, no surprise, much cheaper to buy local than buy from US (Chrono 24 etc) even need to pay GST! (Say a $10K US watch, with tax/duty/exchange rate will be over $15K cad now! @_@) So, may not a bad idea to buy local.

It seems like much cheaper to buy from Europe (UK) with crazy low British pound, but I haven't done that before, not too sure if that is easy and smooth too.

Watchfinder has branches in London. They’re alright but if you have USD packing might be a good time to fly over and pick up a piece since it’s almost parity. Feel free to bring back some crisps on the way back

Whenever someone refers to a watch as a "piece", this is automatically how I picture them:

"The British Pound has fallen so much that instead of buying a Rolex in the US, it’s actually cheaper to fly first-class from New York to London, buy the watch, stay in a 5-star hotel and fly back. - Luxurylaunches" https://luxurylaunches.com/watches/b...ex-cheaper.php

My hkd is itching to turn into a trip to Europe and a Rolex

Didn't want to start a new thread so will ask here:

Does anyone know where Bryn Quinlan went to? He was the Rolex certified watch maker that was with J.Vair and apparently has since left.

Need service done but the cock at JVair - paul something was arrogant to speak with so I won't be leaving my watch with them to send out.

    Thanks.

Yeah well I wonder how they get the soft flowing caramel inside the Caramilk bar but you don't see me making a god damn thread about it. Slap your wife Baygirl, straighten him out.

Sorry for the poor picture quality, picture was taken by another chap… he may or may not be the proud owner of a Motorola T720. And apologies for posting it in the wrong thread.

Let's be mindful that you flexed that T720 real hard back in the day.
