Default New winter activity: ice biking

    Never heard of these before.

'Bowness Park is unveiling two new winter attractions before year’s end including a 1.6 kilometre skating trail and rentable ice bikes. Calgary will be the first city in Canada to offer the winter cycles, which are traditional bikes mounted on a sled-like platform.

“It’s brand new to Canada and we are proud to offer 10 bikes specially-designed for use on the ice,” said area Coun. Ward Sutherland in a statement. “Bowness Park is one of the most versatile parks in western Canada and, with the addition of the new ice trail and ice bikes, there is truly an activity for every member of the family.”'

Just watched the video. Looks like they're from Switzerland and drifting might be possible.

I could see this being pretty popular there. Would be a good way for someone who cant skate to get out on the ice and have some fun. It would be pretty fun if you could drift these lol

and I did not have the only say in the matter (most people just want it done ASAP and don't care about quality).

If anything we made a better decision because we had a consensus and were all on the same page.
