Haha. I've found a few people who have told me that mayo with fries is gross while eating aioli. Life's little pleasures

Dipping potato wedges in mayo, minced garlic, sriracha, some lemon juice. Amazeballs.

    That's a whitey thing right?

So unevenly toasted, how can you even eat that? Get yourself a toaster with red knobs and try again.

Better yet, don't even use a toaster.. Use the bacon fat to toast it in the skillet itself.

Honestly my toaster could probably use an upgrade. It IS pretty uneven, and that's gotten worse over time. We toast a lot in this house.

Damn that is a lotta bacon. I like.

You guys are weird with the mayo comments.
You know when you dip "aioli", you're basically eating way more mayo than what ES has in his sandwich.
I don't care as long as it's not Miracle Whip

I don't think they make good toasters anymore. I've had crap luck, if you find a good one let the world know!

It really seems even the expensive toasters are made to the same shitty internal quality, just with fancier knobs and exteriors.
I'd pay really money for a good toaster, but I have no faith.

Sidetrack but am I the only one who cooks bacon in the oven on a baking sheet restaurant style. Less mess and splatter. Baking sheet, then layer of parchment paper, add bacon, another layer of parchment, add bacon and then top layer of parchment paper and another baking sheet on top to keep bacon flat. In the oven @ 425 and cook till crispy.

If by less mess you mean, you like cleaning your oven?

Theres no mess? You have the 2nd baking sheet on top covering any splatter.

I have cooked in the oven, but not with that technique. Sounds fascinating.

I cook bacon in the toaster oven. It magically cleans itself like most things around the house

...I like to elevate my bacon on the wire rack, tinfoil wrapped catch tray below

Sounds like a lot of effort to avoid 10 minutes of pan frying and a quick wipe up.
