I like perogies. But they get better with lots of onions, lots of sour cream, and lots of bacon. Which makes me wonder if I like perogies at all.

Also, perogies are just dumplings, and every culture pretty much has a version of dumplings. So I kind of put them in their own category, since it's hard to say that ukrainian dumplings are really ukranian at all.

I loved it when my best friend married an asian. I would go over to his house and she would start cooking all this delicious food and feed us. It was heaven. So many different dishes. Or if we went out somewhere, she knew all the cool restaurants to eat at, especially in chinatown.

Then I shacked up with @baygirl and her idea of cooking is mac and cheese.
